Default Printer sharing doesn't work

Hello:

I have a laptop and a wireless connected worksation that
both need to use printers. Out of 20+ machines, that's not
bad I suppose. We all have the same scheme for IP and
gateway except for the last digits of the IP # per
workstation.

I can see the name of the network, but on the wireless
workstation, the name of the computer (Gremlin) is all
that is visible. I have tried enabling file/printer
sharing and no results. I've tried Windows logon and
Client for Microsoft Networks logon and no results.

A couple of the Windows 98 systems around here are indeed
a little different in how they're configured to see the
network from the majority of computers.

Any ideas on how to accomplish printer sharing?

TIA,
LN
