I went to install a USB wireless network adaptor to a
stand alone machine running 98 SE. The installation CD asked for various networking files (e.g., choosusr.dll). When I tried to copy them from the 98 SE CD, they were not found. I searched the hard drive and did not find them there either. Is there hope? Do they need to be extracted? From where? Any help is appreciated. John John the newbie |

There might also be a copy of the Net7.cab file on the hard disk. Search for it. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
