Default 98 SE Missing network files

I went to install a USB wireless network adaptor to a
stand alone machine running 98 SE. The installation CD
asked for various networking files (e.g., choosusr.dll).
When I tried to copy them from the 98 SE CD, they were
not found. I searched the hard drive and did not find
them there either.

Is there hope? Do they need to be extracted? From where?

Any help is appreciated.

John

Choosusr.dll should be on the 98 SE CD in file Net7.cab in the
Setup\Win98 folder. Point to that folder when the system asks for the
CD. There might also be a copy of the Net7.cab file on the hard disk.
Search for it.
