Default Only the win2k server can browse the workgroup



Hi

I have a mixed network (win98,winXP,Win2k), this is happening since Monday , when i try to look for some pc b
network neighborhood or browse the entry microsoft network on any workstation I can't , there several error message
depending of workstation's OS , but the server can see all the computers

The server is PDC and each workstation can ping to any include the server by ip or name, can get internet , mail , map network drives , use share resources, I can type //computer/resource and can get in , can do anything except browse the network

please help!

Obviously something has upset the browser service. Have you added anything
new? Is the server multihomed or running as a remote access server? Any
browser election messages in the server's event log?

Are you running WINS, or are machines using broadcasts for name
resolution/browsing?
