Default remote access

Upgraded to windows server 2003 from 2000, Remote failed
to start with 20152 error. Decided to uninstall Romote
Access and Reinstall. Get error "error occurred whil;e
trying to make a connection to the datastore". After
continuting with install, policies are diabled. Upon
start of server, Event id 20152 occurs: "The currently
configured authentication provider failed to load and
initialize successfully. The specified procedure could not
be found."

I suspect that group policy manager isn't properly
installed.

Default RE: remote access

First make sure that some third-party product; anti-virus, backup
agent, etc. is not causing this. If not, try this:
------------
1 - Verify RRAS is disabled.
2 - Make a back up copy of the IAS folder as a precaution.
3 - Delete the dnary.mdb and the ias.mdb files from the IAS folder.
Note: you may have to boot to Safe Mode to delete the ias.mdb file.
4 - Expand dnary.md_ and ias.md_ from the Windows Server 2003 CD and copy
them into the
WINNT\System32\IAS folder.
5 - Open a command prompt and navigate to the following directory:
C:\Program
Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB
6 - Run the following commands:
regsvr32 oledb32r.dll
regsvr32 oledb32.dll --------
-------------------------------------------------------------
