Default Administrator Priviledges

I am trying to make modifications to my network settings
and WIN98SE reports I do not have administrator
priviledges.

Would someone please tell me how to regain admin
priviledge on my home computer?

Thanks.

Does your computer ask you for a username and password when you start it up,
if it does do you click Cancel or hit the Esc key to continue?
