Default No Domain Server

Getting this error "No Domain Server was available to
validate your password. etc...). This is a Windows 98
machine trying to login to an NT domain over the internet
thru a Cisco Pix. They authenticate thru the pix but
then when trying to connect to the network they get this
error. VNBT.386 is above the version mentioned in KB
152791. Any idea's. I'm an NT/2000/XP person and don't
have any experience on 98. Thanks ahead of time.

Sounds like a time-out. Unfortunately I don't know
how to resolve it, other than by getting validated
locally rather than by the domain controller.

I have the same problem sometimes when i try to login, not
always. In that case i use windows "start", then "run"
the "winipcfg" tool. When "renew all" and restart the
computer, i can login again. Try it!
