Is your PC an older machine with PCI ver. 2.1 slots? Pre-Pentium-III
PCs (including all PC-AT format motherboards) were of this type. Most
PCI wireless cards need a PCI ver. 2.2 slot, which has an additional
3.3 volt line in it.
