System Hangs after installing PCI wireless linksys adapter

After installing the linksys drivers, and then the PCI
linksys wireless G card, the system hangs when it is
booted back up and asks for the Win 98 SE CD. I insert
the CD and click OK, then get a message that says it
cannot find the 'services' file on the CD and the system
is locked up at that point.

Any suggestion appreciated.

I've tried it three times the same way and it behaves the
same way each time.

Is your PC an older machine with PCI ver. 2.1 slots? Pre-Pentium-III
PCs (including all PC-AT format motherboards) were of this type. Most
PCI wireless cards need a PCI ver. 2.2 slot, which has an additional
3.3 volt line in it.
