System error 1789 has occurred. The trust relationship between this
workstation and the primary domain failed.
I have a network with 2 windows 2003 servers and several windows XP
professional.
One server is the domain server, the other is standalone. And all computer
are in same domain.
Some times when I try to add a domain user in a local group (in XP clients
or in the standalone server), this operation is refused in the message error
“System error 1789 has occurred. The trust relationship between this
workstation and the primary domain failed.”. The solution that Microsoft
gives is remove the computer from domain and add it again, and this solves
the problem momentarily, but some time later the problems appears again.
Why this happen?
What can I do to solve the problem?
