If the individual Win98 workstations are trying to log onto the server
using a name that is already defined on the server(such as
"Administrator"), you need to have the password for the account on the
server. Win98 has no built in security and no native method to
validate passwords and restrict access based on a correct or incorrect
password. To prove this, hit cancel when the network logon box
appears....you will be able to log on to the local Win98 machine but
you won't have network access.
You are going to need that Administrator password if you expect to log
onto your network as "Administrator".
