Switching XP User Accounts and Connectivity

This may be a hardware issue, but I have to ask. I have a desktop running XP
SP3 that connects to my wireless network at home via a PCI wireless card
(reused from an old desktop). Doing an initial connection on an administrator
account is no problem, but when I try to switch users (my children's
"limited" accounts), the connection is lost, and I have to reenter the wep
key, select connect, etc. Is this mostly an issue with the cheap PCI card I
am using? I plan to buy a USB wireless connector soon, but will that fix this
issue? The wireless/broadband connectivity is through AT&T U-Verse. Thanks
for any help anyone can provide.

A USB wireless connector solved the problem. FYI for anyone else who may
experience the same issue.
