Switching Between Networks

I have been experimenting with two wireless routers. One router has a
DSL modem attached and the other has a dial-up modem attached. Both
routers work perfectly alone. (One router powered up, the other
powered down.) But I have not been able to switch between routers when
both are powered up. Example: DSL router/network running. All
computers see each other and the network connection works for all
computers. Use wireless NIC software to connect one computer to
Dial-up router/network. I can access the router and dial-up to my ISP,
but my browser never finds the connection. It just times out. I am
using WinXP and Win98se computers in the network.

Can someone tell me where I should be looking for the problem or a
procedure to follow or to a good reference?

Regards, jimbo

Whenever you change network settings in Windows 98 you should reboot to make
the new settings stick. This is not necessary with Windows NT, 2000 or XP
but it is with Windows 98, SE and ME because they cannot dynamically change
network settings.

You could try using WINIPCFG and clicking the Renew button after changing
from one router to the other but that may or may not help.
