Dear,

I have one Main Catalyst of cisco 4700 series from where one cross pair
cable goes to another switch cisco 2900 series the cable or switch works
properly but when we turn off the switch and then turn it on again it loss
the connectivity and we have to unpluge the RJ45 connector of that
switch(2900 Series) and replug it in switch then it again shows the
connectivity.

please tell me what can be the issue is the fault in cable or switch.

It could be either. Replace the cable and see if it continues. If it does.

Hello,

this forum is dedicated to Windows server, networking part. Your problem is
Cisco related, but i will try to help you anyway..

Does the port blink orange for 30s and then go green and works ?

It may be the spanning tree guard that shut the port:
Show vtp status
Show vtp domain

To be sure it's not the cable that is faulty, on both switch :
show port X/X where X is the slot/port number
depending of IOS and model, it may be show int Fa0/X
