I gave my MN-500 wireless router to my daughter so she can
use her laptop at her mother's house, and ordered another
one for my house. I left the software installed on my
computer. When the new router arrives, will I need to
reinstall the software, or can I just connect it and it
will work?

You should not have to reinstall the software.

It's the same. You might even have updated it so that the version on the cd
is older than what you have installed.
