Have a Buffalo WLA-AWCG access point. Would it be possible to swap out
the existing internal WLI-PCM-L11 (802.11b) card for a WLI-CB-G54
(802.11g) to get greater throughput?

I think that internal card is tightly connected with AP firmware - it could
work.. you can try it, but i think it won't work correctly.
