Dear all,

I have a Linux Suse 8.2 installation (kernel 2.4.20) with Freeswan 1.99 but
unfortuantely it doesn't work. It seems that ipsec is not able to bind the
physical interface eth0 to the virtual interface ipsec0.

When typing 'ipsec auto --ready' (or ipsec whack --listen) I get the
following message '003 no public interface'. When trying to start up my
connection ('ipsec auto --up WindowsConn1') I get the follwoing message :
'022 "WindowsConn1": we have no ipsecN interface for either end of this
connection.

ifconfig seems fine, the ipsec.conf file seems file as well....any clue
about what the problem might be?
