Support for promiscuous mode with Orinoco 802.11a/b/g combocard

Hi there!
I would like to know if Orinoco 802.11a/b/g combocard (which
supposedly is based on Atheros chipset) supports promiscuous mode. How
about hostAP driver. Does this work with this?

No, You'll need to use the atheros drivers.
