Solwise has been recommended for bulk CAT5 but does anyone sell this in
any other colour than grey?

I was thinking it would be a lot easier to install cable if it was
colour coded. Alternatively suggestions for good, permanent, ways of
marking the cables when pulling them.

A marker pen.
Or if you're really wanting to splash out get some rolls of coloured
tape as well.

I use a marker pen or tape but, if you forget, a useful tip.

The cable has a number printed every metre that, as if my magic, increments
by 1 each metre ;-)

Note the number at one end, estimate the run in metres, and check the other
end.

The bulk boxes usually have the number at the start printed on them so you
can estimate how much cable is still available.

Cable is available from local electrical factors as cheaply as anywhere
else- I forget what I paid (a 300m box lasts a long time in a home
environment) but it was the best price I could find.
