Hi Bob,
Yes we do have a WINS server installed on the DC as well.
You maybe right here as well, we are seeing a master browser election
on the Domain.
We have a Laptop that is forcing a browser election on the domain.
The laptop has been joined to the domain, it has XP Pro, Norton
Internet Security 2007, some kids' games, and a couple foreign
language (Korean) apps installed.
On the Main Office DC, we changed the registry so that the server is
the Domain Master Browser even after server reboots.
Any suggestions with a problematic Windows XP Client?
Also of note:
On both DC's at the Main Office and Branch, we ran netdiag and dcdiag,
and the results came back with no errors.
Thanks,
bertcastrosf
