hi,

i've been using a linksys wiresless pc card with no
problem for several months. yesterday i started getting a
10038 error message regarding the socket not working and
have been unable to open the linksys wireless utility
since. the pc card checks out fine, as does the internet
connection. i tried reinstalling several times and pinged
my own address without problem as well. i also replaced
the wireless card with my 10/100 ethernet card and plugged
directly into the router but was still unable to establish
a connection (or at least a solid enough connection to use
any programs). all lights were on solid on both the
adapter and on the router. is this a hardware problem with
the port? is there some fix i can install? any help or
pointers in the right direction would be much
appreciated. thanks!

jwk
