I have a server running 2K3. It's got 8 NIC's. 5 of these are connected to
different subnets. 1 of these is connected to a WAN link. The other goes
unused. I am using RRAS to connect the 5 used subnets to the WAN link, and
this is working fine (via NAT/Basic Firewall). However, I have recently
added a NAS to one of the networks and would like to make it accesible to all
of the other subnets. I have enabled IP routing on the RRAS service, but the
individual networks cannot see anything past the gateway address of the other
networks (which makes sense because they are all just the different subnets'
addresses to the same server to which they're all connected). What settings
should I change in order to get all of the subnets to be able to access this
one IP address that resides on one of the subnets? As an additional concern,
this server was set up by someone else, so there may be other settings in
place of which I'm not aware, so if you can come up with any ideas on any
settings that might be preventing this communication from happening, that
would be most welcome as well. Thanks!
