I'm having problems with adding a Win2003 server and WinXP client to my 2003
domain.
When I change the computer from a workgroup to my domain I get the following
error: "The following error occured attempting to join the domain XXX: An
internal error occured." (Where XXX is de name of the domain without .local)
When I try to add a computer in de AD on de DC XXX I get the following
error: "Windows cannot create the object YYY because: The directory service
encounterred an unknown problem". (Where YYY is de name op de server/PC)
Two very clear error messages :-)
Lat week I already had this problem but I had an old unused computer
account, so I named the new computer to that old account and renamed it after
it was added to the domain. Thas was succesfull, but I don't have any unues
accounts left.
Who can help me out? I have two new 19" servers and I can't join them to te
domain!
