I am trying to install a Compaq WL215 adapter which I
have the drivers for installed. When I open up the
client manager it states that the drivers are not
installed but when I go to device manager the card is
supposedly working correctly.

I do know that I can remove the client on 2K and XP and
configure the card from the "double monitors" in the
lower right hand corner by choosing "view available
wireless networks" but this person is not having
the "double monitors" there to see.

I am missing something in ME for the configuration setup?

Any help is apprecicated.

Thanks,

Rich

Rich -
Reboot to Safe Mode, and check out the drivers there - remove ALL NIC's and
reboot - Windows will reinstall the drivers hopefully curing your problem..

BTW - the only stupid question is the one you don't ask!
