stumped

Have managed to set-up a ad-hoc connection to share my cable modem, using
just using 2 wireless cards. However, neither PC can see each other to share
files and printer, tried allsorts but still no joy, even losing my internet
altogether (on 2nd PC) occasionally.

Any ideas anyone ?

if we had a little more information may be i.e
pc setup, IP/network setup
how you managed to share the cable modem (assuming its connected to a pc ??)
firewall config etc ?
