I finally got samba to work with firestarter. The problem is that the only
way I could accomplish this was by bringing up the firestarter preferences
and clicking on "Enable Internet connection sharing". What gives? I
thought that meant enable forwarding. Is there something wrong with my
network configuration that firestarter thinks it must forward samba
messages? By doing this have I opened up the shares on my LAN to outside
people?
