Strange question i need help!!!

Here is the situation.I have one domain with 8 sites.Every site has it's own
subnet.I work for one bank here in Sarajevo.Problem is this.When i have a
problem with a system i want to have a solution to inform all my users to
stop working with application.I tried to do it with net send to send
messages butt it only work on local subnet,and then i must go to every
server in all of my branch offices to send messages.By telephone is to slow
to inform people.I need a solution for this.I have a problem with a
system.From my computer i send message to all my user in all offices to stop
or start working.If anyone have a solution for this.....

Lmhosts files or WINS would probably give you net send capability across the
WAN links. But, I don't know how effective this would be - if the message
pops up on John's machine and he has the application open, but he's in the
bathroom, at the copy machine, getting coffee, etc ...........
