Hi.

I have installed a RedHat AS 3 on my computer.I have configured the
network using the Network Configuration tool provided by GNOME.I am
able to use the Net,but when ever I boot up..I have a strange prompt
showing up.It says something like this:

Could not look up internet address for localhost.
This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly.
It may be possible to correct the problem by adding
localhost to the file /etc/hosts.

I will be given two options: login anyway and try again.I am logging
into the system by doing login anyway.I donot understand why this
prompt is appearing.Have any one got a clue about how I can fix this?
Thanks
Dheeraj.

It's unclear why you repost, even if you already got the correct answer?

* The system message already provide the solution: edit /etc/host and add
localhost.
