Hi

I have two custom compiled kernels on my machine - 2.6.16.9 and 2.6.15.1. I
used to use 2.6.15.1 until about 8 weeks ago, when I downloaded and
compiled 2.6.16.9 and used it for a while. My wireless network device is a
Netgear MA401 PCMCIA card. It used to be detected as eth1 or eth2 on the
old kernel and as the same on the newer kernel.

Over the last week or so, I have switched back to using the old kernel.
However, I find that the wireless network device is detected as eth2_temp.
What does this mean ? I used guarddog to restart my firewall and it gave me
errors that seemed to be complaining about this particular network device
name.
