Strange Browstat Status returns

I was looking at the browser status on my server subnet, and I noticed that
every time I execute the "browstat status" command, I get a different list
of backup servers returned. The Master Browser for the subnet stays the
same, but not the backups.

Does this mean that I have some sort of browser servive instability on my
network? Also, the Domain Master Browser role is not returned, how can I see
that?

Cheers

All domain controllers other than the PDC are designated as
backup browsers. Also, one backup browser is allocated
for every 32 computers on the network segment. The PDC
is always the domain master browser. In a W2k or higher
environment the PDC emulator is the DMB.
