I should have mentioned that I'm trying to access the Win98 network
shares through their UNC names (I didn't map any share).
Now I just discovered that if a single machine on the network maps the
Win98 network shares, all other systems on the network can now have
uninterrupted access to these Win98 shares by just using their UNC name
(no drive mapping is necessary). If I remove the drive mapping, the
problem shows up again.
Any explanation welcome...
Thanks.
