There are users on our Wireless network running BitTorrent
to download files from the Internet, which is fine with our
usage rules. But BitTorrent works by allowing people from
the Internet to download from the user's computer. That
slows down the network for the rest of users. How can I
stop the Bit Torrent Outgoing Traffic?

We use D-link AirPlusG 802.11G Router. All workstations are
Windows XP Pro. I know it might cause the user's Bit
Torrent not to work. Going by the rule, that's fine.

You cant.
Bit Torrent is a two way protocol, people download from someone then make
that partial content available to the next person and so on, thats how it
spreads.

You can't stop the outgoing traffic without also stopping incoming
traffic on it. However, you can set limits on upload utilization per
workstation, if your network equipment has the capability.

Another thing you can do with Bittorrent traffic is to use the client
software's own rate limiting features. Most Bittorrent software I've
seen have it, including Shareaza, ABC, and Azureus.
