Still trying to get this wireless network running.

I have had it working in the past but cant redo it. I ran the network setup
wizard before in control panel. One step says the wizard has found
disconnected hardware and my wireless card is listed on both machines. To
proceed i have to check the box "ignore disconnected hardware". The wizard
says it has sucessfully setup the network.

Still neither machine shows any network connections

Look at the device manager make sure that you do not have “Ghost” hardware,

Try to configure the Wireless manually.
