My client has a SBS 2003 server. Everything seems to be working correctly
except the static IP. I have the IP set to 192.168.123.166. The IP address
does not change, but when i look at the IP settings, they are set for
dynamic. I connect a second NIC with the same results. The server is fully
patched and has the latest drives.

Hi - since you're using SBS, please post in
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs for the most expert help. There's a
"change IP" wizard you should run in SBS (you need to do pretty much
everything via wizards).

I am not sure about the issue, but posting the result of ipconfig /all here
may help.
