Static IP Setting but status is "Acquiring Network Address"

Hi,
All my servers are Win2k3 Enterprise SP1 with Static IP and DNS
configuration but the network icon on system tray is always in the animated
state and the status is "Acquiring network address".
My guess is that there is a passive problem as I have this on all servers!!!
Servers are communicating and functioning properly.

Any idea?

It may be a message from a second, unused, NIC. If so, dissable it.
