static IP error

i have IBM blade server HS 21 with Broadcom network card and when i assign a
static IP to the NIC it gives error this IP address is already in use on
network, try assigning another IP. i have tried on 10 servers and same error
and i am sure the IP addresses i am tring to assign is not used. when i
disable and enable the network card it starts working with the same IP

any help would be highly appreciated.

If you tried this on 10 servers and they all are the same model blade server
I would contact IBM.
