Static IP Adress

I have the MN-700 router and i am trying to run a program
called waste. I need to create a static IP Adress and
when i try in do what this one website says i cant
connect to the internet at all i have to change it back
to detect automatically. I dont know what i am doing
wrong or if i am doing it right

If someone could tell me how to createo one it be nice
