Hi,

We are using one Windows 2003 server with XP clients. We
have just bought one MAX OSX 10.3.X Panther and have
successfully integrated it into our Active Directory using
its Directory Access plug-in.

But whenever we go to Finder and try to connect to the
Win2K3 server with Administrator's username and password,
it always says either the name or the password is wrong,
which is not the case.

I have File Service for MAc running on the server.

Active Directory has successfully created MAC's machine
information in the Computers OU.

But I don't understand why I can't logon?

thanks a million,
Sharad

Try prefixing the username with the domain name:

NAME: mydomain\adminstrator
PASSWORD: ******

You also may have to disable SMB Signing. The MAC may suffer from the same
problem that DOS, Win311, Win95 or NT4 (pre-sp3) has.
