squid + ie

I'm running squid on a RH7.3 2.4.18-3 intel box. It works nicely EXCEPT
that I have a few users who moan about having to refresh thier ie after
authenticating w/the proxy. I know theres and issue with ie5.5 and up ( as
demonstarted by the fact that the problem appears especially after they
upgrade from ie 5 to 6 ). I've set the ie5_refresh option to "on" in
squid.conf but to no avail.

Does anyone have any experience with that and how to resolve it?
