Squid and FreeSCO question

I'm running a FreeSCO router with squid installed on it

After installing Squid and pointing all the client machines at the
proxy address and port I found that I could no longer access FreeSCO's
web interface from any of the client machines.

Now, being somewhat of a Linux newbie I would like to know if the
correct and most efficient way of getting the web interface viewable
again is by simply adding the following to squid.conf?

acl Safe_ports port 82II# freesco http control panel

Thanks.

Doubt you'll get much help on freesco here - many people won't use it for
political reasons concerning SCO's recent legal actions.

Then again, most of us would know it has nothing to do with SCO...

Let me guess, you don't use ciSCO or go to SCOtland because of SCO's legal
actions?

I apologize to the OP, but I haven't used freesco, so I can't help.

What if there were no hypothetical questions?
