OK - I have a g series router/base station connected via
ethernet cable to computer #1 (and a cable modem).
Computer #2 connects to the network via internal wireless
card.

All was well, NOW in the Network Utility:
A) Both computers belong to the same work group and both
can access the internet.
B) Computer #2 (wireless connect) can "see" computer #1,
share files, the whole nine yards.
C) Computer #1 (ethernet connected) cannot "see" computer
#2. Refreshing doesn't help.
D)Both computers show file-sharing enabled.

Any idea? I checked the Base station config and it shows
both computers AND my x-box as clients on the LAN. I
double checked the IP settings etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Deb

If this in Windows XP on the second system, are you running Internet
Connection Firewall, or are you running any third-party firewall on the
"unseen" system? Or perhaps something Norton (Symantec)? If a program like
that isn't programmed to allow LAN access by other systems, it won't happen.
