The drivers issued with this DSL modem have a problem with Win98 and
WinME - quoting from Speedtouch (UK) site ...
' R3.0 driver on some Windows 98 and ME machines will not boot beyond
the Windows splashscreen'
Installs OK, but locks up on re-start with registry corruption, though
will restart if modem disconnected from USB ports & re-connected after
boot into Windows (I thought at first may be a (lack of) power problem
on my (800 MHz AMD/Gigabyte) m/c)
