Speedtouch 585 in Spain via Telefonica

Would anyone know how I can configure my UK purchased Speedtouch 585 v6
router to work in Spain.

I understand that it is PPPoE rather than PPPoA and also it is 8.32
rather than 0.38 and have tried changing these without success.

I have also tried to look for some Spanish firmware but cannot find any.

Use the standard UK firmware and run through the wizard to configure
for 0.38 PPPoE.

Then use the web interface to backup the user.ini config file to PC.

Edit with notepad to just change the VPI/VCI value in the phonebook
section.

Then use web interface to restore modified config.

I was hoping it would be that easy, however I followed your
instructions as it did not work.
The router I think can "see" the ADSL signal however cannot connect to
the Internet.

I know the username and password are correct as I have a Speedtouch 570
that works however the GUI interface is in Spanish.

Any other ideas?
