speedtester.bt.com !!!

Anyone else found that Avast anti virus is now blocking
http://speedtester.bt.com . I presume that it is a false positive and
that an Avast update will shortly rectify the problem.

No. In fact, for the first time, I've managed to make it work - and not a
peep from Avast.
It wouldn't work in Opera but was OK with Firefox, except that it returned
1.7Mbps. I'm connecting at 2.9Mbps and Netmeter indicated d/l speed of
2.5Mbps.
