Speedstream PCI 3060 modems - any good?

I noticed there is a large quantity on ebay for around the £10 mark.
Are they any good? (I hope so, I just won one for my mums ADSL
connection). I kinda assumed they are gonna be better than USB modems,
as all the USB modems I have seen are shite.

They use an Alcatel chipset, there's no driver for Linux or *BSD. Probably
fine on Windows. Everyone wants a router with builtin firewall and wireless
AP.

Nah, not me mum, a £9.99 PCI modem will be fine....
