I have 2 telephone lines in to the house, 1 with broadband the other as
a normal domestic line.
I used the BT speed tester to test the line with BB, and it quoted the
down speed I expected. Then to fool the system, I asked for the speed
of the line without BB nor computer connected. It tested the line as if
it was connected to a local DSLAM. I assume the test was on the same
line as I has tried earlier
