Is there a way on the server side to determine what the speed and duplex
negotiated at when the server came up.??

I know a mismatch between the switch port and nic can cause issues. I know
the Nice is set wrong at Auto and the switch is set to 100/full. Just
wondering if there is a way to tell what the nic actually is running at

They need to be set the same on both ends for dependability's sake. Either
make both Auto or make both 100/Full. I'd prefer Auto just so I don't have
to always remember to plug the server into the same switch port all the
time,...assuming both devices play well together with Auto.

I understand that, just wonder if there was a way to tell what it server was
actually running at.

Maybe, but not that I am aware of.
