SP2 messed my wireless network up

Today I installed SP2 from windows update. I had to wait
about an hour for it to install on my laptop. Then it
screwed up my microsoft wireless network. I could not
get it to work until I un-installed SP2 after trying all
day. I am pretty upset that Microsoft would release this
service pack without knowing that it would screw up their
wireless software.

THANKS A LOT MICROSOFT!!! :-(

Welcome to the club. It did the exact same thing to me. I
manage to be booted from my home wireless network on
average of three to five times an hour and cannot keep a
steady internet connection on the computer using the
adapter. My connection has gone from showing
as "Excellent" to "Very Good". Let me tell you, there is
a huge difference between the two.

I've been no so lucky:

Installed SP2. Totally screwed my wireless network
Uninstalled SP2, and my 2 laptops do not see the base
station!!!!!!!!!!
I can go into Internet from the PC that has the base
station and the cable modem, but that's about it.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Alejandro

I'm at a loss to understand all the problems with SP2. I'm running SP2 and
my MN-820 setup works perfectly.

What did you check? I'm running SP2 on seven or eight machines here without
a whimper, and never had to change anything. What hardware are you using on
your LAN, and can you describe your setup?

I have uninstalled SP2 and still cannot get my network to
work.
I have a Base Station (MN-500) connected to my desktop PC
(a cable modem is connected to the base station)
I can access internet with my desktop with no problems.
Then I have 2 laptops
One with MN-520 wireless network adapter, the other 1
with integrated network adapter.
These 2 laptops used to connect to the base station with
no problems at all.
Now I cannot get them to access the base station.
I reinstalled and reconfigured the base station on my PC,
but to no avail.

Please help!!!!!!

Thanks

Alejandro
