SP2 and mn-820 kit: wifi doen't work

Ok, I've been reading and researching this topic. I think
I've done everything everyone on the net has suggested
and still I am unable to get my a wifi connection. What's
wierd is that the base station is broadcasting and the
computer is picking up the signal. So there's a definite
connection between the two. However, there's no transfer
of information. In other words, I can't surf or do
anything online even though all else tells me that I'm
online. Can someone please point me in the right
direction?
