I'm interested in improving the throughput of LAN traffic on my home
network to something like 200Mbps instead of the current < 50 Mbps,
and the home routers I know about seem to have lousy Ethernet switches.

What are some reliable sources for performance measurements?
I care about measured file copy speed, standards compliance,
cost, and over-heating.

This may be an issue with chipsets more than router design,
so a review of those chipsets might be right for me.

Thanks in advance!
