I have a Proxim/Orinoco b/g Gold card with a little-tiny female socket on
the end of the card. Is that an MC Connector socket?

Yes MC Card, Just went through this with a Orinoco B/G Gold card (new card
8470-WD w/man in picture). Called the company and a half an hour later the
so-called tech after supposedly checking came back and told me it was a
MMCX, which is not correct. ordered a pig tail and it did not fit. ordered a
MC Card pigtail and it fits. They tried to sell me their indoor antenna
which is not what I was looking for and nothing but a hassle trying to get
information out of them.

Sales people. All the confidence and none of the competence...

When dealing with them just nod and smile.. then ask a techie from somewhere
else. They got a good product but that's about it
