Sony Vaio and Microsoft Wireless router

I recently just bought a Sony Vaio with an integrated
wireless g adapter. I have been trying to get it to
connect to my Microsoft Wireless G router. I put in the
WEP key and it shows that it does connect but for some
reason an an icon with an exclamation point shows up
where the wireless icon is shown on the toolbar. It
tells me that I am connected but with "limited or no
connectivity". My question is whether there has been
compatibility issue regarding Sony Vaio computers and
Microsoft wireless routers and if you had any suggestions
on how I can fix this? I do have a Microsoft wireless
adapter that I could slip into my laptop slot, but I am
afraid that might result in the microsoft wireless
adapter as my default adapter as oppose to the one that
is integrated with the unit. Please help.

Have you tired getting the latest g adapter drivers for
the Sony? I had to for my sister's HP, worked great after
that.
